Jeremy Irvine

Jeremy Irvine - born Jeremy Smith in Cambridgeshire, England - is a British actor of both stage and screen who plays Albert Narracott in Steven Spielberg's film adaptation of the Michael Morpurgo children's novel War Horse.


Irvine attended Bedford Modern School, in the county town of Bedford in Bedfordshire, England, before moving on to National Youth Theater and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Jeremy's last name is Smith, but there already was a Jeremy Smith actor. While trying to find a stage name Jeremy's grandfather passed away. Jeremy then decided to take his grandfather's first name (Irvine) for his stage name. So, now on the big screen he is known as Jeremy Irvine.
